Filiz Kartal Harnup is a law graduate from Istanbul University with over 10 years of legal experience as a lawyer specializing in corporate and business law. She has additional experience in collections, banking, and creditor/debtor issues.
After immigrating to Canada in 2006, Filiz successfully acquired both a Paralegal Diploma and a Law Clerk Diploma from Canadian Business College, Mississauga and Toronto, respectively. She has over 5 years of experience as a law clerk/paralegal at Canadian law firms, and has her own practice specializing in Small Claims Court, creditor/debtor issues and litigation in Ontario, Canada.
Barine graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU), one of the two highest ranked universities in Turkey. Barine obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations, and went on to obtain her second Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Binghamton University (SUNY Binghamton) in New York, US.
As an international student in the past, she strongly believes she can relate to other international students all over the world, and challenges they may come across during their studies abroad. Moreover, during her studies, she took the privilege to attend various European youth projects supported by the European Union and met many other students among diverse groups of project participants from different countries.
In 2016, she decided to pursue her dreams in Canada and moved to Toronto, the most populous city in Canada. Since then, she has been contributing to the society and working with different organizations and NGOs to help communities in Toronto. She also has had the chance to improve her marketing and social media skills, helping entrepreneurs and business owners to reach the Turkish community in Toronto and clients from Turkey while advertising to these communities and creating a network between both sides. By combining her educational background and international experience, she makes sure she always captures current news and trends.
Barine is a recent graduate of Academy of Learning Career College (AOLCC) Immigration Consultant Program and working towards becoming a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC).
Binhan Dirilgen completed her university education in the United States. She moved to Canada with her family in 2008. She had completed the UCLA College Counseling Program of US and received counseling accreditation with Canadian and US universities.
She started to provide consulting services by developing collaborations with educational institutions in Canada. In addition, she also completed the ICF accredited basic training and coaching processes at Erickson Coaching International. Binhan Dirilgen is a member of ICF (International Coach Federation) and ICF, Turkey Chapter.
